A companion for the first year

No new Muslim should walk alone.

Sadeeq pairs new Muslims with vetted mentors at their local masjid — a real friend to teach them, pray beside them, and walk with them for as long as they need.

Every week, people take their shahada — and then walk out of the masjid with no one. What comes next decides whether they stay. Sadeeq makes sure someone is there.

How it works

A friendship, structured with care

Not an app that replaces the masjid — an app that brings the masjid closer.

1

Matched with care

Every new Muslim is paired with a board-vetted mentor of the same gender at their own local masjid — someone who understands the journey.

2

Guided week by week

A gentle first-year path — wudu, salah, Quran, daily life — learned together in person, with the app as their companion between visits.

3

Held by community

The masjid sees every match, safeguards every relationship, and welcomes each new Muslim into a family that doesn't let go.

📝

1 · They sign up in minutes

A new Muslim answers a few gentle questions — how long they've been Muslim, what they hope to learn, their masjid, their language — and their entire path is shaped by those answers, starting exactly where they are.

Same-gender matching, always
🤝

2 · They're matched with a vetted mentor

Their local masjid reviews and approves every mentor personally. Sadeeq pairs them with someone of the same gender who understands the journey — then sends a warm welcome and their first meeting suggestion.

Board-approved · safeguarded
📖

3 · They learn, week by week, together

A guided path — shaped by their answers — unlocks one step at a time: wudu, then salah, then Quran, then daily life. Each week is covered in person with the mentor first; the app is the companion that reinforces it, with short lessons and gentle knowledge checks.

Learn with a human, not just a screen
💚

4 · They're carried, not tracked

A daily companion — prayer times, a verse to reflect on, a heart check-in. If someone's struggling, their mentor knows. Milestones are celebrated. No new Muslim reaches a dead end alone.

Care built into every screen
🕌

5 · The masjid holds it all

Behind the scenes, the board sees every match, safeguards every relationship with safety oversight, welcomes shahadas through the app, and watches their community's care become visible — often for the first time.

Oversight · safety · impact

Finally see what happens after the shahada — with oversight, safety, and a way to truly care for every new Muslim.

Stories

Real people. Real first years.

This is what your support becomes — not features, but lives held.

Inside the app

A companion, not just an app

Quiet, warm tools that carry a new Muslim between visits with their mentor.

Prayer times & daily dhikr

Every day opens with the next prayer, a verse, and a remembrance — a home screen that feels like a companion.

Guided lessons

Wudu, salah, Qur’an, daily life — a library shaped by their answers, learned in person with their mentor first.

Heart check-ins

“How’s your heart today?” A struggling week gently reaches their mentor — no one slips away in silence.

A private mentor chat

A real friend from their own masjid — encouragement, questions, and plans to meet, all in one safe place.

Milestones, celebrated

First wudu. First salah. First Ramadan. Moments no one else claps for — Sadeeq does.

Masjid oversight

Behind it all, the board sees every match — approval, safety flags, and real impact numbers.

Real in-app screenshots arrive with our founding pilot, insha’Allah.

For the masjid

Your board sees everything

Sadeeq isn’t a service that happens to your community — it’s a tool your board holds. Every masjid gets its own dashboard:

Approve every mentor

Mentor applications wait for your board’s yes. No one walks beside a new Muslim without your community vouching for them.

The shahada pipeline

Someone ready to take their shahada? The request, the scheduling, and the follow-through — organized, visible, never dropped.

Safety, watched

Same-gender matching enforced by the system, safety flags surfaced to the board, and full visibility into every match.

Impact you can finally see

How many new Muslims. How many still active. How many milestones. For the first time — what happens after the takbir, in numbers.

Questions

Asked with love, answered with honesty

Are you collecting donations right now?
Not yet — and that’s deliberate. Our founding pilot is underway; giving opens when our first stories are real and every dollar maps to real costs. If you’d like to be told the moment it opens, email us.
Is my donation really zakat-eligible?
New Muslims ("those whose hearts are drawn together") are one of the eight categories of zakat recipients named directly in the Qur'an (At-Tawbah 9:60). Our zakat framing is reviewed by scholars, and you can direct your gift specifically to revert support. For your personal situation, we always encourage asking your local imam.
Do new Muslims ever pay anything?
Never. Sadeeq is free for every revert, forever. That is the founding promise of this project — a new Muslim's first year is not a product, it's an amanah.
Who vets the mentors?
Every mentor is personally reviewed and approved by the board of their own masjid — people who know them, pray beside them, and vouch for them. Matches are always same-gender, and the masjid retains oversight of every relationship through safety tools built into the platform.
Where does my money actually go?
Not to “buy” a revert their mentor or app — those are free for them no matter what. Giving funds the real costs: welcome kits, mentor background checks, community dinners, an emergency fund for converts in crisis, and keeping the platform and its people running. We publish our impact openly — you will always see what your giving became.
How does a masjid join?
Simply reach out. We onboard masjids personally — the board gets a dashboard, approves its mentors, and welcomes its new Muslims into structured care. The pilot program is free for masjids.
